Hagasaurus Hands
I glanced down and saw Hagasaurus Hands stuck at the end of my arms! Just exactly when did that happen? Crockodile skin, old age spots and dry as the Sahara. :sigh:
I’ve been buried under a mountain of paperwork that I’ve been ignoring for the past week and a half. I climbed most of it yesterday and today. I still need to balance my checkbooks but, hopefully, I’ll be starting on the floors tomorrow!
Have an intensely moisturizing day! Big Hugs ♥xo

I remember the day I looked down and say my grandmother’s hands. On me!
Amazing how that sneaks up on ya, isn’t it?
Thank the gods for lotion!

I just put lotion on my hands. What amazing timing. Perhaps in the middle of my bathroom/shoe retrospective extravaganza I will put my hands on the interwebs as well.

eucerin cream helps. It’s like crisco, but it helps…

Mine don’t look too bad. I look in the mirror and see my grandmothers body with my head.

Yep, I can so relate. I can also look in the mirror and see my mother. Rite of passage. That’s what I always say.
I’m glad you got through the mountain of paperwork. It does feel good to get caught back up.
Have a terrific day Barb. Big hug and lots of scritches to the babies.

We are our mothers! It is time to use the removal cream again for the age spots–it works! Sure wish I had used sunscreen on the backs of my hands years ago. I ALWAYS put it on my face. Always.
Big hugs…

I’m sure your furry lads think it’s a beautiful hand what with all the loving and ear scritching it gives them……… crocodile skin or not!

It’s so sad. My hands are the only thing I’m vain about and they are slowly turning into old man hands.

Funny – earlier today Amanda looked at my hands and said “wow, your skin looks REALLY dry!” … ya think? Must be that time of the year when everything dries out … at least that’s what I’ll keep telling myself! Where’s that darned cocoa butter?!?

I was shopping today and really saw my neck for the first time. It looked like I was wearing a droopy, wet, crepe scarf . It was my skin. I honestly do not know when this happened or how long it has been this way. I am really freaked and appalled. I live in a hot climate and cannot wear a turtleneck. When did this happen and why didn’t I catch it?

The good thing about getting older is your sight fades, and you can’t see yourself aging as clearly. It’s nature’s way of being kind! LOL!
And for all of you worrying (in the comments) beauty comes from within! But yeah ~ we still wanna look good, I know.

Know what you mean. I was just looking at my hands a couple of days ago and wondered how those brown spots had suddenly appeared. I think they must have been hiding in the wrinkles, but there are too many of the little blighters to hide any more!

Due to sun damage and lack of mousturizer, that could be my hand too. I need to remember to slather some lotion on today too.

Oh this made me giggle. Miss Sam was playing with my hand in the emergency room several weeks ago and pulled up the skin and said…”you have old and crinkly hands”….thanks kid…remember, I was the one that drove you to the emergency room..with my old and crinkly hands
