My sister and I are very close, but not as close as when we were younger and less busy. You are so right about them knowing all your faults and loving you still! Patty and I sign notes to each other "Your Favorite Sister" since there's just two of us girls. It's helpful to have a friend in the family who understands all the family dynamics. But I also have several close friends that are like sisters to me. Even if you don't have biological sisters, or aren't close with them, you can still have very close girl friends who serve the role as sisters. I am the oldest, with one sister and one brother.
