    love the “ash” color of the cat:)… and its fur looks so soft to touch… is it waiting for some unwary bird to bring home? :)… it must be very agile, what with his lean body…

    Thank you for visiting my brookville daily photo blog and for the interesting comment you left there. I am happy that you liked by photos and the hawk photo.

    You are lucky to be so close to water and the environment you described. I would go nuts if I had that many possibilities all the time. I get turkey vultures soaring overhead but never saw a red-tailed hawk here. All of my photos are taken in my backyard here in our rinky-dinky city so to get what I got has taken 46 years.

    Thanks again. I will have to bookmark your blog so I can get back again.
